Recently we have established four new formats for meetings and seminars at CASUS.

At the Institute Seminar a CASUS scientist presents his or her work or invites somebody from another institution. In the Paper Reading Club the speaker will present a scientific paper in such a form that the others will be able to understand it. These two formats will happen biweekly in an alternating fashion on Tuesdays from 14:00-15:00.

The Methods and Algorithms Seminar focuses on a specific algorithm or numerical/theoretical technique that will be explained to the CASUS audience with the aim that one can understand and apply this technique afterwards. In the Hands on Software Seminar the speaker introduces a software, library, tool, etc. that has come in handy. The goal here is to master a first step into that software. Both seminars will take place biweekly in an alternating fashion on Thursdays from 10:00-12:00.

The seminars will be held both in person and remotely, which means that they will be streamed and recorded for internal or later use. People interested in attending the CASUS seminars online are welcome to contact us via events@casus.science.
