We are pleased that the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) is funding the MALEK project, which aims to develop new machine-learning methods to support long-term safety assessments for deep geological repositories of high-level radioactive waste. The project brings together partners from HZDR/CASUS, TU Bergakademie Freiberg, and TU Darmstadt and will run for three years.
