Starting from February 2020 CASUS scientists and administrative employees moved into the building Untermarkt 20 in Görlitz. They also started working in these premises. Hence, CASUS is now fully operative.
After the CASUS building was successfully renovated and refreshed inside, it was equipped not only with modern office furniture but in particular with the modern IT equipment, used in data science and computer modeling, required for successful research and development.
The dedicated working spaces on three floors cover the research areas: earth system science, matter under extreme conditions, systems biology and autonomous vehicles. Additional space is prepared for the needs of Visiting Faculty and Professional Support.
All the CASUS postdoctoral researchers, PhD candidates and master students, as well as the invited guests are encouraged to use several meeting, social and conference rooms located in the Center for Advanced Systems Understanding.
