Abstract of the talk // The speakers will first give an overview about the strategy of the divison. Basically this covers projects in various fields like biomedicine/pharma, food and environment as wells as tech-transfer. Horizontally, these pillars are connected by methods development, lab digitalisation and machine learning and artificial intelligence. The latter part of the seminar will give an overview about projects with a focus on medicine and healthcare. This mainly encompasses the detection of cardiovascular diseases using classification methods. It also incorporates IoT solutions, based on ECG and PPG sensors, as well as IT infrastructure.
