This workshop brings together theorists and experimentalists to discuss average atom models and their applications to the regime of warm dense matter (WDM). It will be conducted online via Zoom. Over the course of two days, June 28 and 29, we will have a series of talks and presentations that will begin at 8 am PDT (17:00 CEST) and end at 12 pm PDT (21:00 CEST). There will be ample time for discussions.
This workshop is free of charge but all participants are required to register by June 20. The event is jointly organized by scientists from University of California Berkeley, Centre de Recherche Astrophysique de Lyon, Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, Commissariat à l’énergie atomique and CASUS.
