Workshop closing event

The robot catwalk

The moment of truth: Will the self-built robots be able to drive autonomously? Will they find the right brick and allocate it to the correct person? The participants of the workshop “Built a robot” will showcase their work at CASUS. After the presentation, there will be ample time for questions about the technology of the future or the beginnings of a career in science.

Twelve children and young people between the ages of 9 and 18 have tinkered, built and programed since March. The aim of the course is to introduce young people to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subjects and the use of artificial intelligence. A timely and exciting topic such as building robots is well-suited for this. Thomas Arlt, Ph.D. – the course leader and specialist in robotics and AI – encouraged the children’s playfulness and creativity while also teaching them about topics such as mechanics, electrics and programming.

CASUS has supported the project from the very beginning and is honored that the results are being presented at its premises. Attendance is limited to workshop participants and their families as well as CASUS and Rabryka employees.
