Scultetus Summer School 2025
Approximation theory and approximation practice pt. 2
Event organized by CASUS Young Investigator Prof. Michael Hecht
Also the second workshop organized by the team of Michael Hecht’s “Mathematical Foundations of Complex System Science” group focuses on practical and theoretical aspects of approximating and interpolating functions, using high-order polynomials, trigonometric series, and rational functions. The event largely builds upon the “Approximation theory and approximation practice pt. 1” summer school held in 2024. Both events have been selected for funding within the Scultetus Workshop and Symposium Program. Besides organizing summer schools, workshops, symposia, and conferences, the Scultetus Center also manages short research stay programs directed at scientists of all career levels.
Most of the spots for this year’s summer school are allocated by the University of Wrocław. Michael Hecht can provide information about any remaining places.
