CASUS Workshop
The Scultetus Center at CASUS invites students from grades 4–6 to take part in an engaging LEGO® Education workshop based on the LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime sets. These hands-on workshops combine creative play with learning, allowing children to explore the fundamentals of programming, robotics, and STEM in an accessible and exciting way.
Participants work in pairs, building and programming their models while developing key skills such as logical thinking, problem solving, communication, and teamwork. The workshops emphasize experimentation, curiosity, and learning through trial and error — reflecting the real-world nature of scientific work, where the process and collaboration matter as much as the final result. Through playful challenges, students gain insight into how scientists and researchers approach complex problems and turn ideas into solutions.
The workshop is designed for primary school students from Germany and Poland and will be held in German and Polish. Schools, teachers, and parents interested in participating are warmly invited to get in touch via email (scultetus@hzdr.de).
